“I decided last minute to do the Wasini day tour with my friends. The guides were very friendly and gave us a nice snorkelling experience. We enjoyed the nice views and we spotted many dolphins. Sea food was delicious. It was by far the best tour I did during my holiday. We had lots of fun with the guides. They even brought us to the place where we needed to take the bus back to Nairobi, which was actually not included. I highly recommend this trip and coast camping in general, you won’t regret it!”

“We just got back from a vacation to Kenya and one of the standout activities that we did was snorkeling off Wasini Island with Coast Camping Tours and Safaris. Coast Camping Tours and Safaris is a first class outfit that provided us with a truly memorable experience. They have a real passion for what they do and it shows in the service that they provide.The staff made sure that we had everything we needed. The dhow ride out to the island was fun and spotting dolphins on the way was an added bonus. The reef itself was spectacular and given that this is the first time my daughter and I have snorkeled the staff was very helpful with getting us acclimated with the equipment. After we were out of the water and we thought we were done with the snorkeling for the day more dolphins were spotted. The staff encouraged us to put on our equipment and jump back in and we got to swim with the dolphins. This was the icing on the cake for my daughter
Lunch was provided at a sea food restaurant on the island and was a relaxing way to end the day.
As part of the trip Coast Camping was to take us back to the Mombassa airport for our 9:00pm flight to Nairobi. When we got stuck in Friday night traffic and it looked like we might not make it to the airport in time all the stops were pulled out and we ended up with an hour to spare. Truly above and beyond my expectations.

“I joined two kinds of day trip with my friend.
One is Watamu Island tour, the other is safari tour in Shimba hills! Both of them were so amazing! We enjoyed so much with super friendly & kind staffs!In Watamu island, we enjoyed swimming at beautiful ocea with many colorful fishes and we had such a delicious seafood lunch with good landscape.
In Shimba hills, we did safari by their 4WD vehicle. Unfortunately, it was a heavy rain when we went. But we could see some animals from car and we had nice lunch in Shimba tree hotel with great view. We had a nice time even though it was bad weather.
I was satisfied so much, so I will recommend all of my friends who want to visit Mombasa!

“I went to wasini island and watamu through coast camping tours and safari with my mother in 60s.
Wasini gave us full of memories with more than 7 dolphins and nice African music. During the trip, we did a fun dive in pure clear blue ocean. We saw octopus under the rocks and beautiful corals. It was first time experience for my mother to do fun dive but an instructor took care of us very well. Good to challenge a new thing even in 60sWe met a group of dolphins after the gorgeous lunch and followed them until we were all happy! It was such a lovely experience
Watamu was great with mangroves and fantastic lunch. We enjoyed beautiful fishes through snorkeling and green/blue ocean and mangrove scenery but the very best was the lunch. Our great tour operator, Kim, bought an octopus on the spot and treated us! It was seasoned with salt and lemon. Wow, it was gorgeous. Best lunch in Kenya is on waka waka island with shrimps, octopus, lobsters, red snappers…
Having said that, the highlights of the trip was hospitality of your operator. They were so flexible, attentive and friendly. Not only they plan professionally, they also fully enjoy with us. I really loved their tours and became a huge fan of their company! Indeed, I already introduced about them to two of my friends. They are going to visit Mombasa soon. I guaranteed 100% satisfaction to them. Let’s see what they say”
I’ve used Coast Camping for two island trips now. First was to Funzi another to Wasini. They are always inclusive and know how to entertain and make the guests have an amazing time.

“We had the best day ever! We were picked up at our hotel and then we took a Dhow boat and did some snorkeling, they provided us with everything needed! We could swim with sea turtles and we saw many beautiful species of fish! Then we went to the Wasini island (in the way dolphins were chasing our boat) and had a wonderful lunch (included in the price) with seafood and some home specialties. I recommend this experience for everybody, all ages.”

どうぞ、大らかで雄大なアフリカ大陸を満喫してください。The famous tourist spots of Kenya is Nairobi and Masai Mara. But I would like to recommend Mombasa to you. In Masai Mara, 360 degree is grass field and in Mombasa, 360 degree is ocean, both of which you should experience to understand the beauty of Kenya. You will lose words. Indiana ocean in Mombasa is just blue–clear blue. Hospitality is the very essence of Mombasa. Diving, snorkeling and dolphins in Wasini–so beautiful. We were so excited with a group of dolphins. If you are lucky, you can swim with them.
If you go a bit further, you can also enjoy snorkelling in Watamu, fresh lobster, octopus and other seafoods! What makes the trip better is young handsome tour guides and their hospitality. This time, my guides were a talented CEO whose future is promising and a professional football player. His brother scored a goal against a match in Japan. It was such a fun drive with a lot of football talk throughout the trip. Great 2 days with them. If you plan to come to Kenya, I highly recommend these tours. Please enjoy the generous Africa with full of hospitality.”

The best tour company ever!
Trust me, I have visited more than 35 countries in the world and did various tours but this company is the very best.
The rate so far is all 5 stars and I know it looks rather suspicious when the review is too good but I want to give them 10 stars!
I am a repeated customer and have done 2 Wasini trips (one of which include fun dive) and 1 Watamu trip so far.
Wasini was great. We saw more than 7 dolphins and diving spots were so beautiful. Both of two trips, crews managed to spot dolphins and we went closer to them. The boat follows dolphins until we are satisfied. All the crews were so energetic, fun, happy and attentive. They play music with buckets, glass bottles and nails and we sang along many Kiswahili songs! Asante sana, Nassor!
Watamu was gorgeous with mangroves and it was very relaxing too. The ocean was so beautiful with so many fish. We were only two guests but Abdulhakim and Viduka took us many places. On the way to Watamu, they stopped for cashew nuts and gave them to us. They even bought an octopus on the spot for our lunch in addition to the regular package! Their entire service was sooo lovely and very professional. The best thing is everyone in the tour company really enjoys themselves and loves their work.
Next time, I’ll definitely ask them to arrange my tour again and recommend it to all of my friends:)”
